Welcome Back!

Dear EPS Families,

Good evening! I hope you and your loved ones had a restful, joyful, and adventure-filled summer. As we prepare to welcome our students back, the staff and I at Evergreen Park School (EPS) are filled with excitement and anticipation for the new school year, beginning Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.

Here are a few important details to help ensure a smooth and happy start:

First Day of School

• Kindergarten students will have a staggered entry. Families will receive specific details regarding their child’s start date and time.
• All other students (Grades 1–5) will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Morning Arrival

• Doors will open at 8:05 a.m. Parents and students are welcome to enter the building at that time.
• Our friendly staff will be on hand to greet you and help students find their new classrooms.

To help ease congestion and ensure a safe arrival, please use the designated entrances:

• Kindergarten – K–2 Playground Doors
• Grades 1–2 – Main Entrance
• Grades 3–4 – 3–4 Playground Doors
• Grade 5 – Parking Lot Entrance

Please ensure your child comes prepared with:

• A healthy snack
• A water bottle
• A nutritious lunch

Cafeteria services will begin in mid-September, and the Breakfast Club will resume in October.

Important Reminders

• Parent Portal: Please visit the portal to complete and sign all required forms.
• Student Fees: Can be paid via School Cash Online, cash, or cheque.
• Label Belongings: Clearly label all personal items to help us return lost items quickly.
• Parking & Safety: Drive cautiously on school grounds and park only in designated areas.
• Transportation: Visit the ASD-E portal for your child’s information.
• School Supplies: Items requested per grade level are posted on the school’s website.

We’re also excited to say that new sidewalks are being added to improve pedestrian safety in our parking lot. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this work is completed.
