This message is from Evergreen Park School. Good evening,Just a friendly reminder that our Fancy Pokket Bagel Fundraiser wraps up on Wednesday, April 29. Please ensure that all order forms and money are returned to the school by that date, as late orders cannot be accepted. Bagels are expected to arrive mid-May, and a notice will be sent home once they are ready for pick-up. The Home & School Association would also like to invite you to Chocolate Bar Bingo this Wednesday evening (April 29th) . The first game begins at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. When you call BINGO, you win a treat! The cost is $5 per player, and a small cash canteen will be available. Thank you for your continued support of our school fundraising efforts. These initiatives allow us to enhance learning spaces and opportunities for both students and staff. We would also like to remind families to please place cafeteria orders before 8:00 a.m. Orders placed after this time are automatically moved to the following day. This message is from thh City of Moncton Hello, We would like to inform you that parking restrictions on Sheffield Court are planned to be modified. An additional parking restrictions will be place on the north side of Sheffield Court (10 metres from the intersection of Evergreen Drive). Parking or stopping will not be allowed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The period of the parking restriction on the south side of the street will also change to restrict parking or stopping from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (currently 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).  These parking restrictions are intended to improve driver visibility for safe passage of all road users near the intersection and the bend, particularly during this high traffic period of the day. The restrictions will be in effect when signage is installed. We have recently changed our notice distribution system. All information regarding parking restrictions modifications is available on the City’s Parking Restriction Webpage. If you deem it appropriate, please distribute this information and webpage link to your school community and advise us of any comments or questions. Friendly reminder… As you know, EPS students and staff will be celebrating Diversity Month from today, Tuesday April 7 until Thursday April 30. Diversity Month is a time to celebrate our tremendous diversity and the many cultures represented in our school. Today, we have sent you information about Diversity Month and also about our classroom food fairs which will take place sometime during the week of April 27-30. Your child’s teacher will communicate the date of their classroom food fair to you. If you would like to contribute any food, please complete the questions on this notice and send it back to your child’s teacher by Friday April 17. We would also like to remind you that we are currently creating cultural kits that represent the many countries and cultures within our school community. If you have any items that represent your culture or your family’s country of origin that you would be willing to donate, we would be honoured to include them in our kits. Good morning, Due to today’s snow day, the Parent/Teacher/Student Led Conferences that were scheduled for tonight have been rescheduled to Thursday, April 9th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tomorrow’s morning conferences will continue as planned.Please remember that students do not attend school tomorrow due to morning conferences and staff professional learning in the afternoon. As a reminder, schools will be closed on Friday, April 3rd (Good Friday) and Monday, April 6th (Easter Monday). Last week, a sheet was sent home explaining our upcoming Diversity Month celebrations. On the reverse side, you will find a few questions regarding your family’s culture and heritage.Please return this sheet with your child(ren) next week, as the information will help teachers plan and guide activities throughout the month.
