Good evening,

This message is from Evergreen Park School.

The Evergreen Park Home and School is excited to host a family movie night on Friday, February 10th . Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 6:00 p.m. in the school gymnasium. The newly released Lyle, Lyle Crocodile movie will be playing. Admission is $2 dollars per person or $5 dollars per family. Feel free to bring blankets or pillows to set up on the gym floor. Lawn chairs can be set up at the back of the gymnasium. A small canteen will be available. Please note parents or guardians must stay with their child for the movie. 50/50 tickets will also be sold.

Please reduce your speed when driving in the parking lot. Look carefully before backing up and ONLY park in designated areas. A friendly reminder that the Kiss and Rise located in front of the main school entrance is reserved for daycare vans and busses ONLY during the K-2 dismissal at 1:35p.m. and the grades 3-5 dismissal at 2:35 p.m.

We encourage all students to participate in our Literacy Week. Tomorrow, Monday, February 6th is “Rainbow Day”. Please encourage your child to show their love for reading by wearing an outfit that represents the colours of the rainbow. All upcoming Literacy Week activities can be found on our school’s website.

Each grade level will be doing various activities for Jump Rope for Heart on a designated day throughout the week.

Have a restful evening and make it a wonderful week,
Mrs. Antigone Panagiotakis
