Good evening,
This message is from Evergreen Park School.
School will be closed on Monday, February 19th. Enjoy Family Day with your loved ones!
Parents whose child has a significant number of absences/tardy arrivals will receive a letter by the end of the next week. This is a reminder of the importance of being in school and arriving on time. If the school can help with your child’ absences/tardiness, please reach out for help.
Please remember to park in the designated parking spaces only. When driving in the parking lot please be vigilant. Look around carefully when backing up and reduce your speed. The Kiss and Ride is reserved for daycare vans and busses only during dismissal.
A huge THANK YOU to Dooly’s located on Mountain Road. A donation of $2246.45 was given to help purchase playground equipment and to support the Breakfast Club. We are very appreciative of their kindness and generosity. Students will eventually be voting on their preferred playground equipment. Stay tuned for more details.
February 19 to 23 is EPS Kindness Week, when all students will be extra kind to everyone at home, at school and in the community. As part of our kindness in the community, we will be having our second annual “Great Mac ‘n Cheese Challenge” to collect as many boxes as possible for the Peter McKee Food Bank for families in need. Last year, we donated 871 boxes… this year we are hoping to donate 1000 boxes! The Challenge will start on Tuesday February 20th and end on Wednesday February 28. If you can donate a box or more of Mac n’ Cheese, please send it to school.
Have a wonderful long weekend,
Mrs. Antigone Panagiotakis
