Good afternoon,

This message is from Evergreen Park School.

We are excited to work with you and your child as the 2022-2023 school year begins. A warm welcome to all! Thank you for your flexibility during our staggered entry last week.

Students enter the building at 8:00 a.m. each morning. Please help us relay to our students that arriving to school on time is very important. This is a valuable life lesson. Supervision on our playgrounds does not begin before 7:40 a.m. Please ensure your child is not on school grounds before 7:40 a.m. unless accompanied by an adult.

Our Breakfast program will open its doors the month of October. If you can volunteer, please call the main office 506 856-3476 and leave your name and contact information. You will then be asked to visit the district website to complete some forms that are required.

When dropping off your child in the morning please use the Kiss and Ride located next to the main school entrance. Use of the parking lot as a drop off zone is discouraged. It is not set up to receive the type of traffic that ensures a safe place for students and staff. If you decide to drop off your child in the parking lot, you MUST park your vehicle and then walk your child to their designated playground. The safety of students and staff is our top priority.

Dismissal times are 1:35 p.m. for students in kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 2. Students in grades 3,4 and 5 get dismissed at 2:35p.m. Daycare vans/ busses are the only vehicles allowed to park in the Kiss and Ride during afternoon pick up. If you park your car in the Kiss and Ride area, administration will ask you to move your car.

Please visit our school’s website for information regarding student fees, forms, and Safe Arrival instructions when reporting your child’s absence.

Cafeteria service will start on Monday, September 12th.; once again items can only be ordered online. Please visit our school’s website if you wish to place an order.

Meet the Teacher Night will be on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00 p.m. We will start our evening in the gymnasium for 30 minutes to discuss school expectations and to select our school’s new PSSC committee. Two 30-minute sessions will follow where parents will be able to meet their child’s teacher, talk about curriculum and classroom expectations. We look forward to seeing all of you at this year’s first school event.

Warm regards,

Mrs. Antigone Panagiotakis
