Friendly reminder… As you know, EPS students and staff will be celebrating Diversity Month from today, Tuesday April 7 until Thursday April 30. Diversity Month is a time to celebrate our tremendous diversity and the many cultures represented in our school. Today, we have sent you information about Diversity Month and also about our classroom food fairs which will take place sometime during the week of April 27-30. Your child’s teacher will communicate the date of their classroom food fair to you. If you would like to contribute any food, please complete the questions on this notice and send it back to your child’s teacher by Friday April 17. We would also like to remind you that we are currently creating cultural kits that represent the many countries and cultures within our school community. If you have any items that represent your culture or your family’s country of origin that you would be willing to donate, we would be honoured to include them in our kits. Good morning, Due to today’s snow day, the Parent/Teacher/Student Led Conferences that were scheduled for tonight have been rescheduled to Thursday, April 9th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tomorrow’s morning conferences will continue as planned.Please remember that students do not attend school tomorrow due to morning conferences and staff professional learning in the afternoon. As a reminder, schools will be closed on Friday, April 3rd (Good Friday) and Monday, April 6th (Easter Monday). Last week, a sheet was sent home explaining our upcoming Diversity Month celebrations. On the reverse side, you will find a few questions regarding your family’s culture and heritage.Please return this sheet with your child(ren) next week, as the information will help teachers plan and guide activities throughout the month. Good evening Evergreen Park families! Our school swag shop is back open with school clothing for sale! We are proud Northstars, and love seeing students wear EPS clothing. Our shop has lots of summer options – hats, shorts, tees, and of course for grade 5s, we have our grad 2026 clothing options.  You can find the shop and order right online at 2026evergreenparkschool.dnaswag.ca. The shop will be open until April 14, and clothing will be delivered to the school several weeks later.  Thank you for supporting the Home & School Association and our many fundraisers that allow us to give back to students and staff!

Evergreen Park School – Parent Talk Mail Good evening families, Triple Positive Parenting Family and Early Childhood Anglophone East, Inc. is hosting another Triple P Positive Parenting Group for parents of children in Kindergarten to Grade 2. Kiss and Ride Safety Reminder We must address ongoing safety concerns in our Kiss and Ride drop‑off area. Under no circumstances is any driver permitted to pass another vehicle in the Kiss and Ride lane during morning drop off. This behaviour poses a significant risk to students, staff, and other families and must STOP. All drivers are expected to: Excessive speed and unsafe passing have been repeatedly observed, and this is unacceptable. We require the full cooperation of all drivers to ensure the safety of our school community. While we recognize that mornings can be busy, safety must take precedence over convenience.
