Good evening,

This message is from Evergreen Park School.

This is a reminder that the parking lot is NOT a drop off area for students. If you wish to walk your child to their playground, you must park your car and walk your child. When returning to your car, please be mindful of people walking in the parking lot. Please reduce your speed and be extra vigilant when backing up your vehicle. We had a close call this morning. A parent with her two children almost got hit by a distracted driver. Abiding by the school’s parking lot expectations is imperative. It is a matter of safety!

The school’s breakfast program is scheduled to open its doors on Tuesday, October 3rd at 7:30 a.m. The program is for all students that do not have enough time to eat a healthy meal prior to coming to school. The following items will be offered every morning: boiled eggs, cereal, milk, yogurt, fresh fruits when possible, cheese and granola bars.
We need two more volunteers to help us offer this very important service to our students. If you are available one morning a week (7:20 a.m. -8:15 a.m.) please call the school (506) 856-3476 or email Mrs. Panagiotakis (Antigone.Panagiotakis@nbed.nb.ca).

School will be closed on Monday, October 2nd to observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Have a restful evening,
Mrs. Antigone Panagiotakis
