This message is from Evergreen Park School.

Students and staff would like to thank families for making our school’s major fundraising event such a success. The Walk-a-Thon surpassed our expectations and has become one for our record books.  Your generosity brought in a whopping $18 255.00! We are thrilled and very appreciative. We will be placing an order of 20 iPads for our new classrooms and 6 in focus machines to enhance student learning.  The remaining amount will be used to buy various resources, special guests, and supplement some school field trips.

This is a friendly reminder to families that picture orders are due on Thursday, November 3^rd.  Picture retakes will take place on Monday, November 21^st.

Thank you to parents/guardians for not parking near the bus lane located on Evergreen Drive. This is allowing busses to turn safely and not jeopardize anyone’s safety.  Please continue respecting the municipal signage and park only in designated areas located in our school’s parking lot. Moreover, please be very vigilant when driving in our school’s parking lot.   Look carefully before backing up and reduce your speed.

Thank you to the Home and School for organizing a fantastic Movie Night.  Many families participated and had a wonderful time eating snacks and laying around the gymnasium while they enjoyed the movie Sing 2.

School will be closed on Friday, November 11th for Rememberance Day and on Friday, November 18th students will stay home. Professional learning has been planned for all staff.
