Good afternoon,
This message is from Evergreen Park School.
Students will be selling garbage bag bundles to raise money for the playground improvement fund. Order deadline is May 26th – all orders and payments must be received by this date. Payments can be made by cash or cheque (made out to Evergreen Park Home and School). The top selling student from grades K to 2 and grades 3 to 5 will win a 50-dollar gift card from Toys R Us. The Home and School organized this fundraiser. Thank you for your support!
The Evergreen Park Home and School is excited to host one final family movie night on Thursday, May 18th. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.; movie will start at 6:00 p.m. in the school gym. We will be playing the newly released Puss in Boots – The Last Wish. Admission is $2 dollars per person or $5 dollars per family. Feel free to bring blankets or pillows to set up on the gym floor. Lawn chairs can be set up at the back of the gym. A small canteen will be available. Please note all students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Immunization reminder: Parents who recently received a letter from Public Health via their child, please send in as soon as possible any updates to your children’s immunization records. The Public Health Nurse will be back at Evergreen Park School in early June to update their information. Your assistance in this is much appreciated.
Students will stay home on Friday, May 19th. In the morning, teachers will attend the yearly NBTA meeting and educational assistants will attend the yearly YESS meeting. All staff will have professional development in the afternoon. Moreover, school will be closed on Monday, May 22nd for Victoria Day.
I hope you all enjoy a wonderful Mother’s Day with your loved ones,
