Good evening,
This message is from Evergreen Park School.
A reminder that the grade 3-5 holiday concert will take place on Tuesday, December 12th at 6:30p.m.. Doors will open at 6:15. p.m. If possible, please bring a non-perishable item.
Last day for cafeteria service will be Friday December 15th.
Tis the season for giving and there are several fun opportunities to do so this week! You can contribute nonperishable food items or baby food for the Fill the Bus /Peter McKee food campaigns and by donating a dollar and wearing a hat or crazy hair on Wednesday.
Holiday fun continues this week, students can wear Red and Green on Tuesday and they can wear an ugly /cute holiday sweaters on Friday.
If you have not paid your child’s student fees, please do so as soon as possible. You can pay the fees by using SchoolCash online, cheque, or cash.
Please ensure children are dressed appropriately for at least half an hour of outdoor play. A warm jacket/ coat, hat, scarf, mittens/gloves, snowpants (for younger students) and boots are required. If you need help providing such items to your child, please contact Mrs. Panagiotakis.
Please remember students enter the building at 8:00 a.m. Arriving late to class disturbs the classroom learning environment and hinders the learning of the other students. Please be mindful and make every effort to bring your child to school on time. Being on time is a very valuable life-lesson.
The parking lot is NOT a drop off zone. If you choose to use the parking lot, you MUST park your vehicle and walk your child to their designated playground. This is a safety issue so PLEASE RESPECT this school expectation.
Unless your child is attending the Breakfast Club, you are not to drop off your child before 7:40 a.m. when supervision begins.
Friday, December 22nd is a half day for students. Students in K-2 will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m. and students in grades 3-5 will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m.
Have a relaxing evening and make it a wonderful week,
Mrs. Antigone Panagiotakis
