This message is ONLY FOR STUDENTS ON BUS 63 and 64 (AFTERNOON RUN)

This afternoon, bus runs 63 and 64 are cancelled for students attending Evergreen Park School..

This decision follows the immediate recall of all LION electric buses for safety inspections after a safety concern with the company was reported in Quebec last week. At this time, our district does not have enough replacement buses available to cover every impacted route. Please arrange for your child/children to have an alternate way home at the end of the day today.

The BusPlanner system will be updated, and families will continue to receive cancellation notices and/or any changes to routes through that system.

We understand sudden changes of this nature can cause challenges for some families and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we work with our transportation partners to resolve this situation. Student and staff safety remains one of our core priorities.
