We are thrilled to announce that Mad Science will be running a fun and educational 6-week program at Evergreen Park School during lunch hour, starting the first week of October. This program is designed to spark your child’s curiosity and enhance their understanding of science through hands-on experiments and activities.

Program Details:

  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Start Date: First week of October
  • Registration Deadline: September 25
  • Cost: $69 + tax (Cheaper than last year!)

Class Descriptions:

  • Harnessing Heat: Students will explore thermal energy through experiments with thermal paper, melting ice blocks, and our “magical” copper pipes.
  • Lights, Color, Action: Discover the science behind lighting effects and color, and learn how these elements are crucial in various scientific applications.
  • Magnetic Magic: Explore the fascinating world of magnetics using magnetic wands, compass needles, and magnetized paper clips.
  • Optical Illusions: Learn how the brain can be tricked by the eyes with flexible mirrors, stroboscopic disks, and periscopes.
  • Sonic Sounds: Dive into the science of sound, exploring music, voices, and other noises to understand the principles of audio.
  • Tantalizing Taste: Examine the elements of taste with model tongues and sugar content analysis, offering a unique scientific perspective on what we taste.
