Good evening,

This message is from Evergreen Park School.

We’re pleased to share a few important update and reminders to help keep everyone informed and safe as we move through the school year.

🍽️ Cafeteria – Online Lunch Orders

Lunch meals may be ordered online through our cafeteria provider, Chartwells. Please note the following important details:

The cut-off time for placing orders is 12:00 a.m. (midnight) the night before.

Orders placed on the morning of the desired meal day will not be processed.

Last- minute cash orders will not be accepted.

Chartwells is currently working to adjust this cut-off time. Once an update is available, we will notify families accordingly.

🌱 Circle of Security Parenting Program

Family and Early Childhood Anglophone East Inc. is delighted to once again offer the Circle of Security Parenting Program for families with children aged 6 months to 5 years in Moncton and surrounding areas. This valuable program supports parents in building strong, secure relationships with their children. Call or email to register… 506 853-3061 / reception@fecae.ca

🚨 Lockdown Practice Drill – September 18

As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety, we will be conducting a lockdown exercise drill on Wednesday, September 18 (9:00 a.m.- 9:20 a.m.). Members of the RCMP will be present to assist with the drill. During a lockdown, students remain in their classrooms, and no one is permitted to enter or exit the building.

These drills are essential to ensure that both students and staff are well-prepared in the event of an emergency. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe learning environment.

🚗 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Safety Reminders

To ensure the safety of all students, staff, and families during busy drop-off and pick-up times, please keep the following in mind:

Stay on the sidewalk when at the K-2 playground.

Do not stand in the bus lane—this is a safety risk.

Drive slowly and cautiously on school grounds.

Parking on the field is strictly prohibited. Please use only designated parking areas.

The space near the fence behind the basketball court in the parking lot is not a parking spot—it is used by students walking home.

Your cooperation helps keep our school community safe and organized.

🐾Dogs on School Grounds

We kindly ask that families refrain from bringing dogs onto school property during drop-off and pick-up times. Some students have a fear of dogs, and we want to ensure that all children feel safe and comfortable at school.
