This message is from Evergreen Park School.

Picture Day will be on Monday, October 24^th for students in grades 3-5 and Tuesday, October 25^th for students in grades K-2. Please note some scheduling changes were made to what was previously shared. Harvey’s Studios will do their best to complete all thirty-two homerooms in two days.

The Evergreen Park Home and School is excited to host a family movie night on Thursday, October 27^th at 6:00 p.m. in the school gym. We will be playing Sing 2. Admission is $2 dollars per person or $5 dollars per family. Feel free to bring blankets or pillows to set up on the gym floor. A small canteen will be available. Please note parents or guardians must stay with their child for the movie.

Thank you to all families that have already sent in their pledges for the Walk-A-Thon. As stated in the letter sent home, this is our school’s major fundraising event. Student and staff will be walking a span of the Northwest Walking Trail on Monday, October 31^st to promote a healthy lifestyle and to raise money for school activities, guest speakers and other resources needed at school. Our goal is to raise $10 000. Please have your child return all pledges by Friday, October 28^th. We appreciate your support.

If you have not returned your child’s vital information sheet, please do so as soon as possible.

On Friday, October 28^th, Shelley Bean, performer, will entertain our student with a “spooktacular” Halloween presentation. There will be two presentations. One presentation will take place at 10:00 a.m. for students in grades K-2 and another presentation at 1:00 p.m. for students in grades 3-5. I hope everyone has a “howling” good time!

Students and staff would like to thank Irishview Estates Apple Orchard for donating over seven hundred apples to our school. Their generosity is much appreciated, and their apples were DELICIOUS! A special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Edmunds for picking and bagging the apples for our school.
