Evergreen Park School – Parent Talk Mail
Good evening families,
Triple Positive Parenting
Family and Early Childhood Anglophone East, Inc. is hosting another Triple P Positive Parenting Group for parents of children in Kindergarten to Grade 2. This free course will run from May 5 to June 16, 2026, and the registration deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026.
If you require additional information, please contact Stephanie at 506‑853‑3061.
Kiss and Ride Safety Reminder
We must address ongoing safety concerns in our Kiss and Ride drop‑off area. Under no circumstances is any driver permitted to pass another vehicle in the Kiss and Ride lane during morning drop off. This behaviour poses a significant risk to students, staff, and other families and must STOP.
All drivers are expected to:
- Remain in the line and follow the established traffic flow.
- Wait their turn without attempting to pass or maneuver around other vehicles.
- Adhere strictly to reduced speed limits on school property.
Excessive speed and unsafe passing have been repeatedly observed, and this is unacceptable. We require the full cooperation of all drivers to ensure the safety of our school community. While we recognize that mornings can be busy, safety must take precedence over convenience. Please remain alert, patient, and respectful of all posted expectations.
Extra Clothes Reminder
Due to the wet and muddy conditions on our playground at this time of year, we kindly request that families place a set of extra dry clothes in their child’s book bag or ensure they come to school wearing splash pants for outdoor play.
This small step will help keep students comfortable throughout the day and will significantly reduce the number of calls made to parents asking for dry clothing to be delivered to the school. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Parent–Teacher Interviews / Student‑Led Conferences
Parent–Teacher Interviews and Student‑Led Conferences will take place on
Wednesday, April 1st from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Please check with your child’s teacher regarding the format they will be using.
If your child’s teacher is conducting student-led conferences, and you would like to discuss your child’s progress in more detail, please schedule a separate meeting.
Teachers will not be discussing student progress during student-led sessions.
