Halloween & Diwali

October 31

We are excited to celebrate both Halloween and Diwali at our school. We believe this is a wonderful opportunity to embrace and learn about the diverse cultures and traditions within our community.

Halloween Celebration: students are welcome to dress up in their Halloween costumes. We encourage costumes that are fun and appropriate for a school setting. Please avoid costumes that may be scary or offensive to others.

Diwali Celebration: We will also be celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Students will have the chance to learn about the significance of Diwali through various activities. We invite students to wear traditional attire if they wish.

Inclusivity and Respect: Our goal is to ensure that all students feel included and respected during these celebrations. For students who do not celebrate Halloween, or Diwali, we encourage them to dress in orange, green or their regular attire.

Educational Opportunity: We see this as a valuable educational opportunity for students to learn about and appreciate different cultures. We will have discussions and activities that highlight the importance and traditions of both holidays.

Communication and Feedback: We value your feedback and suggestions. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Together, we can create a respectful and inclusive environment for all our students.
