This is a friendly reminder of a few important upcoming events and notices :

• Picture Day will take place on Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2. We look forward to seeing all of our students’ smiles!
• Volunteer Registration has changed this year. All volunteers must complete a new registration each school year to ensure we have an accurate record of everyone volunteering in our school and that all required documentation is up to date.
  To volunteer, you will need:

1. A Vulnerable Sector Check dated June 30, 2024, or later (renewed every three years).
2. A completed Policy 701 Questionnaire, completed on or after July 1, 2026. Please note that last year’s questionnaire does not carry over.
3. Agreement to the Confidentiality Agreement, which is included as part of the online application process.

Anyone interested in volunteering can visit “Volunteer With Us!” on the Anglophone East School District website to complete the registration process.

• A friendly reminder to pay your child’s student fees if you have not already done so. Thank you to all families who have submitted their payment.
• Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29, is Orange Shirt Day. We encourage all students and staff to wear orange as a way to honour the survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and reaffirm our commitment to truth, reconciliation, and respect for Indigenous peoples.
• There will be no school on Wednesday, September 30, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
