๐ŸŒ Diversity Month at EPS โ€“ April 7th to April 30th

This year, EPS students and staff will be celebrating Diversity Month from Tuesday, April 7th until Thursday, April 30th. This special month highlights the tremendous diversity within our school and the many cultures represented in our EPS community.

Throughout the month, students may:

  • Participate in engaging cultural activities
  • Enjoy delicious food at classroom food fairs
  • Watch informative videos
  • Present cultural projects
  • Explore books centered on diversity and inclusion

Diversity Month encourages students to appreciate their own cultural identities while learning about the celebrations, foods, and traditions of their peers.

๐Ÿ“„ Family Questionnaire
We are sending home a voluntary questionnaire about your familyโ€™s countries of origin and cultural practices. This information helps guide classroom learning and enrich activities. Please return the completed questionnaire with your child.

๐ŸŽ’ Cultural Kits โ€“ Items Welcome
We are also creating cultural kits to represent the many cultures in our school community. If your family has any items that reflect your culture or country of origin and you would be willing to donate them, we would be honoured to include them. Items can be sent to school with your child. Thank you for your support in helping us build meaningful learning experiences!

Thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Have a great weekend,
Mrs. Antigone Panagiotakis
