Dear Parents,

We’re thrilled to announce that Mad Science will be offering another exciting 6-week lunch-hour science program, Ready, STEM, Go, at Evergreen Park School starting in January! This program is designed to ignite your child’s curiosity through hands-on experiments and engaging STEM activities.

Program Details:

Kindergarten – Grade 2:

• Day: Tuesdays
• Time: During lunch hour
• Start Date: January 14th

Grades 3 – 5:

• Day: Wednesdays
• Time: During lunch hour
• Start Date: January 15th

Registration Deadline: December 30th

Cost:

• Early Bird Price: $70 + tax (until November 30)
• Regular Price: $89 + tax (after November 30)

Payment Plans:
To make it easier for families, we offer payment plans. Simply choose the payment plan option at checkout to spread the cost over time.

Supporting Other Students:
If your family is in a position to do so, please consider donating additional funds to help other students in the school participate in the program. All donations go directly towards covering costs for families who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

If your child wants to participate but financial constraints make it difficult, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’ll do our best to connect you with available funds to ensure your child can join this exciting program.

Ready, STEM, Go Class Descriptions:

• All About Animals:
  Explore life inside a virtual animal kingdom! Students will view replicas of animals to learn about their unique physical features and classify different species.
• Current Events:
  Discover the science behind electricity and circuits, learning how moving electrons power the devices we use every day.
• Energy Burst:
  Learn all about energy transfer and conversion, focusing on potential and kinetic energy and how these concepts apply in daily life.
• Kitchen Chemistry:
  Investigate the chemical reactions involved in preparing and digesting food, and explore food substances by analyzing different ingredients.
• Sleuths on the Scene:
  Become a detective like Sherlock Holmes, using logic and scientific observation to solve mysteries.
• Spy Academy:
  Dive into the science of security and forensics, becoming a super spy with hands-on activities related to security tasks.
