Good evening,

This message is from Evergreen Park School.

A friendly reminder to join us on Tuesday, June 6th for a Night of the Arts. At 5:00 p.m. the doors will open to all families and friends. You will be able to walk around the school and enjoy all the wonderful artwork students have created throughout the school year. At 6:30 p.m. please join us in the gymnasium. The grade 3-5 students will entertain us with an evening of song. A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Schonewille, Mr. Richard and Mr. MacLean, art teachers, and Mrs. Chambers, music teacher, for sharing their love of the arts with the students. I look forward to seeing many of you during this fun filled evening.

Over the past several weeks, our grade 5 students have been participating in Power Play Young Entrepreneurs®, an engaging, hands-on program that empowers students to develop their own businesses. These enterprising students have committed to building new skills and are now ready to display their business plans and market their products. Our Young Entrepreneurs invite parents, teachers, and students to attend their Young Entrepreneur Show (see details below). This showcase event is educational for our school community. Other students will have the opportunity to be inspired, learn about business, purchase items of their choice, and have fun. Students will visit the Young Entrepreneur Show with their classes Thursday morning during regular class time. Students may want to bring along a nominal amount of money for spending. Parents will be able to come in on Friday to view the displays and shop. There will be a variety of crafts and lots of creative surprises!
Prices generally range from $1.00 to $5.00… Mark your calendars! We look forward to seeing you there!!

Wednesday, June7th is 80’s dress up day. Students pay $1.00 and dress as though it is 1980. Money donated will be deposited in the school’s Goodwill fund. This fund helps us support our families in need.
